Historical Seward Line Data

Between the GLOBEC years and the current LTER program, various projects continued collecting Seward Line data. Project funding came from a consortium of organizations: AOOS, NPRB, and EVOS’s Gulf Watch Alaska. Unfortunately, no single organization maintains information on all the research done during 2005-2017. However, NPRB’s Project Search & Database and Gulf Watch’s Environmental Drivers Overview provide information on individual projects, including some final reports.

Seward Line data are publicly available via AOOS’s Gulf of Alaska Data Portal. In addition, many datasets have DOIs that are discoverable via DataONE. Below, a table summarizes direct links to the datasets that are relevant to the NGA LTER program.
